Applicability

These terms apply to all bookings made directly through the website www.artistshouses.fr, excluding reservations made via third-party platforms (Airbnb, Booking, etc.).

1. Lessor Identity

The rental is offered by SCI Artist’s Houses, registered with the RCS of Aubenas under number 952 982 122.

2. Nature of the Rental

All accommodations are furnished tourist rentals for short-term stays, except for the accommodation « The Artist », governed by a mobility lease (minimum 1 month).

For « The Artist », the clauses of the mobility lease take precedence over these terms.

3. Capacity, Duration, and Booking Rules

Each accommodation has its own rules regarding minimum/maximum stay duration and maximum capacity. Any booking confirmed via the site’s calendar is deemed compliant.

4. Payment

Payment is made online via Stripe (secure) on www.artistshouses.fr, or via ChargeAutomation for the security deposit.

Payment is due immediately upon booking.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation up to 5 days before arrival: Full refund, minus 20 € (Stripe + administrative fees).
• Cancellation less than 5 days before arrival: 20 € retained + cost of the first night.

6. Security Deposit

Some accommodations require a security deposit, held as a bank pre-authorization via ChargeAutomation (valid for 7 days post-departure).

This deposit covers:

• Damage,
• Violation of accommodation rules,
• Cleaning costs rendering the accommodation unavailable.

7. Cleaning Fees and Cleanliness

No cleaning fees are charged. Tenants must return the accommodation clean, in its original condition. Any incident, breakage, or damage (even minor) must be reported immediately.

8. Tourist Taxes

Prices include tourist taxes, remitted to local authorities.

9. Check-in/Check-out Times

• Check-in: from 3:00 PM (self-access).
• Check-out: before 11:00 AM.

Specific rules for each accommodation are detailed in the traveler’s guide and the corresponding listing.

10. Insurance and Liability

The accommodation is covered by « owner-occupied » insurance. Uncovered damages are the tenant’s responsibility and may be deducted from the deposit.

SCI Artist’s Houses is not liable for water, electricity, or internet outages due to external incidents or provider issues.

11. Applicable Law

• Competent court: Privas Judicial Court, 10 cours du Palais, 07000 Privas, France.

These terms may be updated without notice. The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of booking on www.artistshouses.fr.
